“ Stopped by for a nice romantic dinner. I ordered a ribeye and my husband ordered the scallops over a bed of risotto. We also ordered the lobster mac n cheese and mashed potatoes to go with our meal. The service was prompt. The food was delicious. Had a great experience. We ordered creme brulee for dessert. Will be coming back again! ”

“ I took the wife for a late night diner. We picked the steak special for two and she ordered a paloma on the side. Steaks we cooked to our request. The wife really enjoyed the Paloma. Our host gave us excellent service and I really liked that there was so many options in food from steaks to seafood. We will definitely be coming back and recommend stopping by. “ We celebrated a family birthday, the service was overall good but we had asked to split the check one waiter said yes but the one that took our order said we couldn't do it. Since we were a large group, the tip was added to the bill, which was a bit unexpected. The atmosphere is nice but it was a bit dark and we had to use our phones to look at the menu. It was odd to have the restrooms on opposite sides of the restaurant. The food was tasty and cooked how we asked. The side dishes were really good. Not sure how I feel about everything being charged separately, the main course from the sides. I would go again but probably not in a large group. ”

I ordered the tomahawk steak, cooked perfectly to a juicy medium rare, and it was outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The mac & cheese was rich and creamy, and the asparagus was fresh with just the right amount of crispness. Overall, Verdigo’s offers top-notch food, great service, and a cozy ambiance. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Downey! ”

“ Visiting family in the area so we stopped in for dinner last night. The service was great and the food was even better! We started with their complimentary bread, stuffed mushrooms & drinks (Carajillo & Ruby Slippers were ) Entree: Bone in Ribeye & Ribeye - cooked to perfection & huge portion size Sides: Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Brussels Sprouts - best Brussels sprouts ever, they are kind of sweet in the best way I will definitely come back when I’m in town again! Highly recommend ”

Our amazing waitress took care of us like we were family, making sure everything was perfect. I indulged in the filet mignon, and let me tell you, it was absolutely divine! Cooked to perfection, each bite was pure bliss. Everything we ordered was delicious. But that’s not all—one of the highlights of the evening was when the owner himself came over to prepare a special shot for us, completely free of charge! It’s these thoughtful gestures that truly make the experience memorable. He also played a birthday song over the sound system in the restaurant. As if that wasn't enough, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary cheesecake and a beautiful birthday song sung just for my daughter. It made her feel so cherished on her special day.
